Welcome to Como! This online visitor information service is created and offered free of charge by La Griglia di Como for our guests and anyone exploring the city. We want to help you enjoy your day and, if you wish, welcome you for lunch or dinner at our restaurant and pizzeria at Via Rezzonico 2.

Useful information for your visit
Arriving in Como by train
Check the station name on your ticket: Como San Giovanni and Como Lago are different stations. For Milano Cadorna–Como Lago services, consult Trenord. Select walking directions from the station where you actually arrive.
Boats and buses: plan your return too
Before a lake trip, check departures, your last suitable return and current notices with Navigazione Laghi. For buses, consult ASF Autolinee. Plan your meal around current travel information, rather than an old timetable found online.
Luggage, facilities and official information
Need luggage storage or public toilets? The municipal practical information page lists local services; check opening times and conditions with the operator. A first walk at your own pace
Our suggestion: start with the Duomo and Broletto, explore the streets of the old town, then head to Piazza Cavour for the lake. With more time, choose one extra experience: museums, the waterfront or Brunate. Our detailed guides explain the history and reasons to visit each place.
Rainy days and family visits
Consider a short visit to an open museum followed by a break. Check our events diary for exhibitions, theatre and family activities. Ask venues about step-free access for pushchairs or reduced mobility: a walking route in Maps does not guarantee an accessible path.
